At the heart of the deal is Tesla’s AI6 chip, an all-in-one semiconductor that will serve as the brains behind the company’s most ambitious technologies: the Full Self-Driving (Supervised) driver assistance platform, Optimus humanoid robots, and data center-grade AI training workloads. Samsung’s new semiconductor facility in Taylor, Texas, will be ground zero for the AI6’s production.
